4.5.2 Inspection routine. The sample shall be subjected to the inspections specified in table II, in the order shown.
All sample units shall be subjected to the inspection of group I. The sample shall then be divided into two subgroups
and subjected to the inspection for their particular subgroup.
4.5.3 Failures. One or more failures shall be cause for refusal to grant qualification approval.
4.5.4 Disposition of qualification sample units. Sample units which have been subjected to qualification testing
shall not be delivered on any contract or purchase order. The Government reserves the right to retain the sample
units or to require the supplier to furnish the sample units with the qualification inspection report.
